As a Business Development Representative specializing in PLM, you will drive pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities for cloud-based PLM solutions. This role demands strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build relationships with prospective clients to support the sales process effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients in target industries, focusing on companies within our market.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and social platforms to generate interest and qualify leads.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns that drive new opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery calls for understanding prospective clients’ challenges and aligning them with our solutions capabilities.
  • Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations with the sales team.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of outreach activities, customer interactions, and sales metrics in CRM tools.
  • Stay informed about latest product features and updates to effectively position its value during prospecting activities.
  • Contribute to improving outreach strategies and identifying areas for pipeline growth.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related fields.
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage decision-makers effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage numerous outreach activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with PLM platforms or enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of industries such as manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Understanding of product and service core features and value propositions.
